Introduction

The Rogue is a master of deception able to silently slip between the shadows to work their dastardly deeds. Their dexterous hands enable them to quickly loot riches, pick locks, and disable various traps.

The Rogue’s playstyle that of a snake. With your quick hands and quiet steps, you’ll find yourself having to decide between stabbing at someone’s back end or looting the next chest. The trick is to make enough correct calls to get out alive. Be wary of the mimics!

‘The Sly Assassin’ Move within the shadows!

Pros

  • Highest base move speed of all classes
  • Fastest attack and looting speeds
  • High damage output when you can get up close, preferably from behind
  • Usually has the initiative due to quiet steps

Cons

  • Very low max health
  • Lowest magic resistance of all classes
  • Heavily reliant on the initiative, don’t get caught with your pants down!
  • Very low range of attack, keep a rapier on hand

Playstyles

Solo

Rogues are the masters of solo play. Whether you’re looking to stalk enemy players or roam through the dungeon opening every chest possible, you’re going to have a blast doing it. Use your stealth, movement, and fast attack speed to your advantage, lest you find yourself on the business end of the Barbarian’s axe.

Group

Group play is a surprisingly good fit for rogues. They can easily back-to-front an entire team if they’re focusing on the wrong target. Expect to be on scout duty for your team. In PvE, you can loot an entire room of chests before your Barbarian companion has a chance to blink! Just be sure to share in the spoils.
